This is not a good choice. That dude has his eye out on me, and he's going to ban me every chance he gets!

Generally if you don't flame/troll people or say racist things, it seems pretty hard to get banned on the Shroomery.

Pointing out black crime statistics is not racist. The mods are infatuated with political correctness that they ignore reality.

We know it's not. Ok let me rephrase that.. if you don't flame/troll people or mention the melanin levels in one's skin, it seems pretty hard to get banned on the Shroomery.

But even on the race topic I can promise me and you have said things dozens of other sites would not have been so merciful to us on.

 idk the percentages but i think a lot of the bans are just mods being human and having some sand in their vagina about something, or if a post gets flagged by another shroomerite who usually calls out posts that break the rules frequently and is trusted they may just be like "oh XXX flagged it, must be right....ban" - or mods being friends with a person who flags a post of someone they dont like would side with the friend rather than the other person

in one thread i remember making multiple racist jokes in the pub and other peoples posts got deleted by mods and a ban was handed out yet somehow they just let my posts go....then they got called out on it and were like "oh if we had seen them before we would have done something" and never even altered my posts :haha:

mods are human too and can be in good and bad moods, kinda like cops....you get pulled over at 8am for doing 80 in a 60 by a state trooper who's wife randomly gave him a morning blowjob before work....he gives you a warning.  same scenario but instead the cop had a big fight with his wife the night before, and is pissed off, writes you a ticket for speeding AND notices one of your taglights is out in the middle of the day and decides to write you an inspection notice too  sucks

you guys seem to like to believe there's a lot more emotion involved in this
shit than there really is, in fact, there's very little, we look at the
previous ban history, the offense, and the interactions we've watched.
sometimes, even people that are good posters get a serious ban based on
things such as this.

Exactly. I'm one of the most respected and well liked members of this website and still managed to get a few months site wide.

im not saying every mods bans are influenced by emotion, maybe there is no bias in friends and such, but i definitely think if a mod is having personal issues like say their wife just walked out on them, they are probably more likely to slam that banhammer on some stupid shit than if their wife just finished blowing them and is in the kitchen making them a fat sandwich

its just being human, you cant avoid it....you cant say there has never been a ban by a mod based on emotion or bias

For every mod added, one needs to be voted off.

This is one of the most blatant bullshit posts I have ever seen here.  I could name several drama queen banners and don't think you aren't on the list.

100 percent agree. Mods should serve terms. If they suck they do not get reinstated as mods. I've noticed a few mods who act like children when they hear something that they do not agree with.

You both seem to have missed the joke and apparently took it personally. Very unshroomy. No flaming in the Pub.

By the way Webster, please stop following me around the boards with the sole intent of trolling and flaming. Riding the coattails of Burke and his "cause" doesn't make you Jesus Christ.
