Forbidden 403 error.

So I've been getting the forbidden 403 error when trying to access the site on chrome and Firefox for the past two days now. What gives? Mobile works fine.

I'm getting the same "Forbidden. You don't have permission to acess/ on this server" error. Shroomery opens on my phone but not my home Internet. Tor browser isn't working either for some reason. Anyone got a clue as to why this is happening?

The title on the browser tab says 403 Forbidden, but when I load the main directory page I get the error that I quoted above. If I google this thread and click on it I'll get "Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /forums/showflat.php/Number/20793530 on this server." I'm unable to go anywhere on the site using my home Internet connection.

Is it my ISP or something to do with the website or both? It started maybe 3-5 days ago I think.

Let me know if there's any more info I can give that would help.

Does the problem URL begin with http or https?
Which one?

Alright, when you try to log in, make sure the URL in the URL box starts with https.
This site only accepts logins using SSL.

Ok, I tried typing in "https://shroomery.org" in the address bar, but I still got the forbidden error page.

This is the weirdest problem I've ever encountered, this is the only site I'm having trouble with and it seems like its only me and RideTheSpirals having the trouble.

Appreciate the help so far, hope there's a way to fix this.

I've been getting the same this evening, although refreshing it usually brings me back. Also, the site seems to be loading slow overall. I'm using Firefox 33.1 on Windows 7.

Edit: Seems to be working fine now. Many thanks to Andy or whoever fixed this.

i´ve been getting this for the last two and half weeks three... it started different (with the iraqui guy) but then when Ythan tried to fix it it became a 403 error...
i think he´s trying to figure it out, i´m happy i´m not alone on this though, it really freaked me out at first, it has to be something with shroomery since it´s not coming up anywhere else.

so yeah the fix for now is working via a proxy... but in my case it means reduced functionality which sucks ass!

Don't worry, it's even happening to geokills now. We're definitely making it a priority. Out of curiosity, do you have SSL enabled in your basic preferences, and if you disable that does it help?

Is it my ip address? Connected my phone to my wifi and got the same forbidden screen. But when I'm on 4g I can access the site no problem.

I have this same problem when I use the Steam browser to login but not when I use my regular Firefox browser.

i've only gotten the 403 error once, but i get a 522 and 523 error all the time.
