Re: Methoxetamine -- The true prophecy [Re: lsdkiwi]

If you bothered reading through most of these posts you would realise I was not using that as a basis for him being A prophet, but in agreement to AV as to that being a clear sign that he is not insane.

I am not defending him being a "prophet" that is subjective depending on your beliefs. I am defending his right to his own unique beliefs, especially when they clearly are helping him. Are you guys still in high school or something? Oh wait that's right kiwi is a frat boy  how about you stick to topics you know about or actually bother reading fully. Like being paddled by your frat mates :rofl2:

Well once again if you read through this whole thread you would read many a post were asante talks about how these experiences are helping him. And that those who know him in person have noticed the positive change as well. You don't need to be an expert to see that, just have to bother reading through before posting. Your right I don't know 100% it is helping him, but from what I have seen it certainly seems to be.

I was serious when I said that I was tired of -- and bothered by -- trying to defend Asante, and that I was done doing the defending.

However -- since you said 'Witchcraft' -- I decided to chime in once again.

There is no 'self-proclaimed' (much less 'God-proclaimed' and / or even 'Devil-proclaimed') 'genuine witch' or 'genuine warlock' on all of Planet Earth who practices actual Witchcraft ('the Devil's Witchcraft') and also admits to worshipping God -- or -- worships God without admitting to anybody or everybody that they worship God.  Witches and warlocks truly serve only themselves and the Devil -- whether they agree with that or not, and / or admit that or not and / or whether they are even aware that doing Witchcraft ALWAYS serves the Devil.

So -- bottom-line -- Asante is doing the exact opposite of witches and warlocks because he is not doing Witchcraft and does not identify as a warlock and instead repeats over and over about his connection with (and experiences with) God.  As I already stated -- no witch or warlock does what Asante is doing, so -- in conclusion -- Asante is not doing Witchcraft (Thank God!!).

What else would you call it when someone has personal issues and then go through experiences which help them shift into a more positive headspace?

Many religious people might say that drugs are the work of the devil and that these hallucinations are projections of Satan claiming to be God.

He's not in reality and I doubt he is functional right now in real life.
Whats next, is he going to quit his job to chase this "artifact"?

What do you think his parents think/would think of this?

Well for one as he is in his 40's I don't see any reason to bring his parents into this. Also he has stated several times the artifact isn't even too far away. He probably could take a day or two off or just use his weekend. Not that I know anything about his work situation. I love how you claim to have respect for him yet have only been spouting negative judgements. Not that I would expect anything else from a frat boy.

And there is strong evidence of religion and drugs relationship, I don't think this is very far fetched. There is a church in New York that worships psychedelics as physical manifestations of God.

In my opinion: a smart, mature, intelligent adult (preferably 21 years of age or older) simply experimenting with one -- or more -- drug / drugs of interest (due to -- for example -- simple human curiosity) -- and: with safety as a very high-priority, if not the TOP-PRIORITY) -- is not doing anything that -- for example -- the Christian Bible speaks of as being 'sacrilegious acts' and / or 'acts that go against the word of the Lord God Almighty and / or Jesus Christ and / or the Holy Spirit (the 'Holy Trinity').

Side-note: when I say 'experimenting', I mean 'an individual only using the drug / drugs as long as he / she considers it to be nothing more than experimentation'.

However -- if it gets to the point where the individual becomes dependent on -- and / or addicted to -- the drug / drugs (and is no longer experimenting with the drug / drugs, but -- rather -- is clearly abusing the drug / drugs and is simply prolonging the unhealthy and horrid dependence / addiction with every further 'use' of the drug / drugs, I feel that it is no longer okay to be using (or -- more accurately -- abusing) the drug / drugs.

'Consciously-chosen' drug abuse -- in my opinion and in my belief -- worsens (if not completely eradicates) an individual's connection to the Lord God Almighty and / or Jesus Christ and / or the Holy Spirit and / or 'the Divine' and / or 'actual truth(s)' and / or 'Heaven' , and can -- at the same time -- strengthen an individual's connection to the Devil and / or 'demons of Hell' and / or fallen angels and / or 'the unholy' and / or 'false information / lies' and / or 'Hell-itself'.

Simply put: my opinion is that there is nothing inherently wrong with mature adult 'drug experimentation' (a.k.a. smart, mature use of one or more drugs by a '21+ mature adult individual' simply for the purpose of satisfying curiosity and / or interest ((etc.))).  However: if -- and when -- the time comes when the 'drug use' can no longer be considered 'legitimate drug experimentation' and -- instead -- can only be considered actual 'drug abuse' -- THAT is when -- in my opinion and belief -- the 'drug abuse' stops the individual's ability to have a strong connection to any or all of the 'Holy Trinity' and 'the Light side' and -- instead -- strengthens the individual's connection to the Devil and all of 'the Dark side' (a.k.a. 'the Darkness'), etc.

One more thing (associated with what I was saying in my last post / reply) in further defense of Asante's sanity and mature use of Methoxetamine:

Asante acknowledged in an earlier post of his in this thread that he puts quite a bit of time between each use of Methoxetamine (3 weeks, I believe) where he is mostly -- if not entirely -- sober.

With that being the case (along with Asante's 'self-acknowledged positive religious and / or spiritual intents for his every use of Methoxetamine) I personally wouldn't consider his Methoxetamine use to be 'drug abuse' in any way, shape and / or form, and -- rather -- I consider it to be entirely-mature -- and, according to Asante, incredibly beneficial -- substance use that -- for example -- brings Asante closer to the Lord God Almighty and creates a solid connection between Asante and the Lord God Almighty.

What does god sound like when he talks to you Asante?
And have you ever been evaluated for any mental disorders?

Buttsnot said:

I can't speak for Asante, but -- when it comes to God talking to me -- it's like 'hearing thoughts' (except the 'thoughts' come from God, not from my own mind).  Also -- it's not like an auditory hallucination and it is not 'heard through my ears from outside my body' like external sounds and there is no actual specific 'God-voice'.  Simply -- what God says to me just comes to me like thoughts do.

As far as mental disorders go -- it is accurate that many professionally-diagnosed 'psychotic and / or insane and / or schizophrenic people' talk to varying extents about religion and / or spirituality (such as, for example: talking about having had and / or continuing to have religious and / or spiritual experiences like seeing / talking to God and / or seeing / talking to actual 'angels of God') and a lot of it -- if not all of it -- sounds simply unbelievable and makes the diagnosed-individual appear to be -- to varying extents -- insane (etc.).

I doubt that Asante has ever been diagnosed 'insane / psychotic / etc.' and I -- myself -- have never been diagnosed with any mental disorders whatsoever aside from legitimate ADHD (even when I have shared my seemingly-profound -- and unlikely -- Christian religious and spiritual beliefs in depth with psychologists / psychiatrists / general doctors / etc.).

The bottom-line is that not everybody who claims to be religious and / or spiritual is definitely 'officially insane, etc.' (per diagnosis / diagnoses from doctors) just because of their 'seemingly-outlandish' and 'very unlikely' religious / spiritual beliefs that they have and / or so-called religious / spiritual experiences that they have had and may still be having.

Still, though -- there are many, many people who are deeply religious / spiritual (etc.) who ARE diagnosed officially-insane (etc.) and -- likely ARE just insane (etc.) when it comes to their beliefs and 'experiences'.  However -- I simply don't believe that Asante is one of these people (for many reasons).

Many if not most shamans would be considered mentally ill if a westernized physician took a gander at them. That being said westernized culture is lacking in many fields especially spirituality, and even things like schizophrenia we still don't truly understand.

I, myself, believe that an individual is legitimately psychotic and / or insane and / or schizophrenic only if some -- or all -- of his / her beliefs are mostly -- or completely -- inaccurate (as far as actual 'reality' goes) and some -- or all -- of his / her personal experiences of life are mostly -- or completely -- full of inaccurate, unreal-content and / or substance.

Well, that's just silly.  Any correlation which may exist between mental illness and spirituality is purely coincidental.  Spirituality is so highly subjective, it's impossible to gauge using logic.  Also, in terms of metaphysics, all reality is subjective.  Therefore, your theory makes no sense.

Was that directed at my shamans and mental illness statement? And I totally agree with you AV I am just stating that "mental illness" and things like shamanism can be one and the same depending on how you look at it. For instance people like you and Asante who claim to "hear gods voice" or whatever would be considered schizo by many. As would many ancient shamans/ mystics. Some of which maybe were mentally ill, while some were clearly having profound spiritual experiences that still correlated with reality pretty strongly as well. A good example of this is all the close similarities between ancient cultures, some of which were never in direct physical contact with each other.

One could argue all of those things describe parts of the psychedelic experience depending how how you view it. Some spiritual/ religious experience as well. I personally don't think that but I have heard it said before.
