HELP! I've looked at 4 different hardware stores and all the target, wal-mart, kmart, every fuckin store i can think of and none of them carry any kind of dessicant (damprid, drie-rite, etc.) I did find some ice melting shit in a plastic jug that is anyhydrous calcium chloride (CaCl2) which i beilieve is the same chemical which is used in dessicants. does anyone think that this stuff would work for drying mushrooms??

What store did you find it in?!?! I have been looking at all those stores with the same results. I also saw the ice melting stuff at wally world.
I can get little tiny bottles of dessicant that come in pill bottles, many of them, but I would think it would take close to a thousand to get the desired mount>?

Maybe they would work as air/moisturizer removers in small bags? To extens storage life for us non-scientists, who don't feel like taking the extreme methods of preservation.

personally , for a small amount of shrooms , I dried it between two foils of paper put on some dry verm .
It's work good for me , but dont know if can work for lot of shrooms !

Someone has ever try this ?
