I posted a whole other thread on this find. The book is from '72... no idea about the presumed substance or its age but some people mentioned that L turns brown as it ages so I'm fairly certain thats what it is.

By the way, Toe Jam & Earl is the shit :thumbup:

Not to intrude into an awesome thread with a random question, but...

Does anyone have a hard copy or PDF of Psychedelics Reimagined by Thomas Lyttle?

It includes a section/chapter titled, "Psychedelic Monographs and Essays, Volume Six (1993)." In it is a page or more about adding dextrose to substrate (rye in this case) to achieve higher psilocybin content.

I have a reallly old first print of book called the varieties of the psychedelic experience by RL master n someone else i found in a warehouse. Its kinda redic musta been like the first book bout acid tripping. Its acually a great book on the subject. Like if i wanted someone who has never tripped to no what its like that book would do a pretty good job.

Jean Houston was the coauthor, they also wrote the Psychedelic Art book and Mind Games that are posted above and earlier in the thread. Varieties is a great find, especially if its a first edition. :thumbup:

Slightly water damaged but still was very cool unexpected find. Kinda found me u no. Felt compelled to pull that one book outta heaps of trash n had one those hang on whats this now moments. Was doing ton lsd at the time aswell so it was a wierd kinda thing at the time idk:shrug:

Havent heard of that one but Ill look into it, dunno about the dextrose but I have used quinoa flour as an added nutrient, its high in tryptophan which is structurally similar to tryptamine, my thinking was that the myc would be able to use the added tryptophan in their diet as a precursor to their signature tryptamines. Ive also experimented with ground sesame seed which is also very high in tryptophan.

I feel you man, if you look at the other books Ive posted youll see Mind Games by the same authors, I was directed to it by a higher force at Half Price and it had a surprise in it for me, a gift from the universe

i enjoyed it, for sure.  i keep it on my coffee table so any time someone new comes over, i can decide if they are a person worth knowing or not by what they say about it.

yeah....i have a stained glass steely in my window and a decent collection of bongs and pipes on my TV stand. (i don't have a TV...if i want to watch a movie or show, i watch it on my computer.)


how i don't get cops banging on my door because of that deadhead in the window is a mystery to me.  i guess i don't listen to enough alex jones for the cops to think anything badly of me.  :rolleyes:
