Well holy fucking shit. An understandable explanation of how microchips work that makes sense

Its all switches that creates 1s and 0s right?

But how can they put a billion of them in a square inch and switch all the 1 to 0s and vice versa so fucking fast using only electricity?

I always looked at microchips as if it was the limits of my understanding of the world we live in. I always thought, "well, its electricity doing something inside the microchip and magic makes it work...

Finally I have found a video that actually tell and show you how these fucking thing actually work.

You will never look at your computer the same way (yeah you will, but hey, its fun to know)

Patlal, look up crystal computer chips. Stuff is mindblowing. It's been proven as a viable storage technique. Much more space than standard computer chips, because it burns the binary into 5 different axis'. Really interesting stuff.

I have not seen the vid yet as i can't atm, but I agree technology is amazng. Everytime I think of the computer or whatever I think back to how it even began.. Like how the fuck do you make a fucking computer out of dirt!!?.. Like how the fuck does that even happen.. Like fucking programming n shit, and the micro chips n all the other shit you see inside electronic products. Its just so fucking mind blowing, it's way more mind blowing to me than the cosmos n space n shit because we didn't make space, but we made fukin micro chips!

Microchips making other microchips
getting smaller and smaller

something like 1 billion transistors in any chip you find in a xbox360
over time they re wire the circuitry correctly that determines the logic or use new techniques
so it doesn't need as much speed, size etc
The smaller it gets the less energy, heat etc.

Theoretically, you can use 8 carbon atoms to represent a byte of data if you can engineer a means to both record the information on a large scale and to find a means to read the data.

they are just tiny unseen atoms inside of atoms with their own elements completely seperate from the way we observe physics today

I get the joke, but the irony is that the scientific theory behind magnets is arguably the most powerfully predictive and successful theory ever made by man.  Nothing is more understood in a scientific sense than magnets (that is, electromagnetism in general).
