My fish tank has turned into an entire ecosystem * 1

Fish had a baby fish
Then somehow some water bug got in the tank
He just like floated around on top of the water so I was like, you're chill, you can stay.
Now there's like 100 of em.
They can fly but they don't fly around my apartment, they just chill in the tank & float on top of the water.
Now there are like a million little itty bitty tiny things on the side of the tank they I think may be snails.

I gotta clean this fucker like a mother fucker who needs to clean a mother fuckin' fish tank, but if I do, I'm worried a hundred green water bugs will fly all around my apartment.
HOW THE FUCK DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!?!

I'm going to try to catch the bugs in a jar, I want to clean the tank & get rid of the snails, but I want to keep the bugs, they're fuckin' cool & I don't understand them.

The snails probably keep the tank clean. Why kill them? They are free labor,

I had a 100 gallon for like 3 years
sharks and lionfish and beta's mostly

Sweet. I've only done freshwater tropical as a kid, but got really into it and my aquarium did okay... until the house fire, anyway. c_c Some day, now that I have my own place, would be cool... I actually have a 10 gallon aquarium I picked up at a thrift store, and all the accessories, but I'm using it as a FC atm... XD I wouldn't want to use it as a main acquarium, I'm of the mindset the hobby gets easier (and the habitat better) in many ways as the tank gets larger.
