First Shroomery Movie Night - Tucker and Dale VS Evil! Showtime @ 10:30 PM PST[INFO UPDATED]

Countdown to this event, 10:30PM PST

Yo yo, I wanted to plan on starting this around 9-10PM PST if everyone is down, but I suppose it's not a HUGE deal when you start it.

The point of this is just to bring people together, enjoy a movie, and chat about it, what you enjoy, dislike, or just wanted to heckle about it.

So come in here and let up know what times work for you. I think the most fun could be had if we syncronized our watching as close we can, and then even set-up a temporary chat, or just post here to discuss. [ http://tinychat.com/mi2430 ]

The point of this isn't just to watch movies, I can do that whenever I want. It's to enjoy movies with other people. THAT is what I miss when I watch movies alone. It's supposed to just be a fun way of connecting with other members that are already online, and doing something together.

So please post what times work best for you. Like I said, I wanted to target starting at 9-10, but again if you have to start watching while we're halfway thru, it might not be a big deal.

NEXT WEEK --  CABIN IN THE WOODS

So next week's movie has already been selected, and I hope we can get some suggestions for the one after that.

I think next week we should shoot for Thursday, because it might be a busier night than a weekend night, and more people might get in on it.


SO for now, we'll just say Thursday 10PM PST? All dates and times subject to change.

You know I'm in. Closer to 10 pst works better for me, but whenever.

Week 3 should be Switchblade Sisters. After the ball gets rolling on this, we should do a serious movie.

I also have amazon prime, if anyone has that. If you have JUST that, it shouldn't be a big deal because the movies on Netflix & Prime generally overlap.

Cool, sounds like a good nomination. Then yes, after we do Cabin, we'll decide on the next-next weeks movie, a more serious one.

But we could also do movies on Streaming sites if Netflix or APrime doesnt have one.
