Nah. The cop even gave me my hidden beer. As soon as he met me and we started talking it was very short. Trust me I live in meth land I meet crazies all the time.

And not her. Zzz. I've never seen her before tonight. And I do this walk a lot.
It's the shortest walk to the corner store and a bit farther to work.

I always stash it. It was just behind a bag of soil for my plants right outside my sliding door on this cabinet thing that I keep my camping grill on. Been grilling a lot. No particular reason it's just what I do.

As a chick, I agree that there are times when a woman has past baggage, like a past in which she was stalked by someone. And if said chick doesn't get proper closure and potentially some therapy, then she may well project her shitty past experiences onto you.

It's certainly not fair to you. But I've met plenty of women who have triggers of sorts. One friendly glance that she takes the wrong way could have easily started her into a neurotical tailspin, landing you as a prime stalker subject.

Assuming your story is as stated, I think you are the victim of projection on her part.

The cop being so chill to you (assuming he's not just some misogynist asshole who hates women) lends itself to the notion that your behavior was perfectly normal.

From what instances I've witnessed with domestic abuse kinda stuff, the cops tend to be quite leery of the man involved. So for the policeman to recognize that the situation was a non-situation definitely lends itself to your innocence.

And yeah, given all the meth peeps rolling around that place, it's entirely plausible that she was high and being irrationally paranoid.

From the way you speak, it doesn't sound like you're some kind of desperate pussy hound. This girl may just have untold issues and need counseling.

Guys say hi to me all the time, and I have no problem with that.

There's probably some shit she's dealing with, and you just got caught in the crosshairs.

Human interaction can be quite unpredictable. But just keep it classy, and don't let one bad experience stop you from taking walks and meeting women. There are many fine ladies who are pleasant and pleased to be smiled at.

Ya exactly. She walked in as I was cashing out and I said hello which I do to everybody. Acknowledging somebody exists then went on my way. Today I did the same walk and there was a female mailman. We both smiled and said hello beautiful day. I'm very sociable. At the very least when you pass someone I give a casual nod. I see were crossing paths in life have a good journey.

And with the second beer I like to leave it outside my door to let it warm. That's what brings out the flavor. She followed me home and probably told him. I didn't even see anyone the whole walk home except for a friend who gave me his new number. Honestly I feel stalked.

Yeah it really is pretty ridiculous. Imagine if a man followed a woman home to find out where she lived and then reported her to the police for stalking based on nothing more than running into her a few times, you can bet that would have gone a lot differently.

Sometimes your just going the same way. People walk the road all the time. It's the road out of my neighborhood. I never feel like I'm being followed. Especially because not once was I behind her. She came into the store after me and left after me. I just did my casual nice day sandal gait. Enjoying life.

Sounds like a conceited bitch who thinks she's worthy of being stalked. I would have told her not to flatter herself, "if I was going to stalk someone, it'd be someone attractive."

I've always been a little annoyed at those "certain" Woman who feel as though they are at large risk of getting raped or kidnapped or whatever else, as if they think they are so great and desired by many. Don't get me wrong, a lot of men are pigs and will rape anything with a vagina, I'm aware of this.

This chick you speak of though, seems like one of those, "OH MY GAWD THIS GUY WAS LYKE TOTALLY STALKING ME IT WAS LYKE SOOO CREEPY OH MY GAWD!"

Tell her she's too ugly to stalk, then she'll probably be watching and waiting for you to follow her every day. :ilold:

Chicks in places like that can be scary. I got ripped off by a girl with a concussion once for being trusting and nice, and she didn't even seem that crazy. I had to learn better ghetto people skills after that. I was content with being threatened by homeless girls and seeing domestic violence all the time and stuff, but getting ripped off because I cashed a check for a girl who was running away from an abusive BF with her kid late at night... That made me feel bad. I even tried to chase her down to give her some Tylenol, make sure she was alright, and offer her a lift when I realized she didn't have a ride to the train station. I didn't even see it coming until I saw that the check bounced.

The cops were really cool there though. They always had real problems to deal with, and they were always polite and respectful, and they appreciated it when people acted that way too.

Where do you draw the line? Now I don't even want to walk down the street I walk down every day. To the store for assorted beverages, beer, and they sell my favorite soup. Plus work is that way. If she just happens to be out when I'm walking I already got complained on for no reason. Shit could ruin my life and I literally saw her twice and Continued my walk. They always take the woman's side.
