barber pet peeves official thread

i've had trouble with barbers since as long as i can remember. they can never cut my hair the way i want them to. it is a rare occasion that i actually leave satisfied from a barber shop.

i got a haircut today, this fucker left my hair looking like i was part of justin beiber's crew, which i have nothing against but, that's just not me. i looked like a straight up fag, like i am not even comparing that word to gay people. that's just how it felt, i looked in the mirror and the first word that came to mind was "fag", like i was some sort of lame wannabe bieber fan. idk.. i hope i didnt offend anyone with that word.. because i wasnt trying to..

the funny thing was i went to fill up my water containers  yesterday and the same dude that cut my hair today filled up my water containers yesterday. the dude didn't even work there, the barber is right next door so i guess this dude was just hanging around shooting the shit with his peers. he filled my water and left. was so random. but before that while he was filling my water, he commented on my hair, saying i need a haircut, i was like "yea i know i look like shit", he's like "yea ur scaring people away". funny guy actually.

anyway i got my hair cut, didn't like it, so, fuck it, back to the buzz cut. and i am lovin it. but there goes 10 bucks down the drain(again), well at least i was able to help someone out i guess.. this is the second time i had to cut my hair off completely because the barber fucked up..

tldr: yay barbers!

I have ALWAYS had the same problem, so now, I just let it grow so long, then buzz it off.

I have a lions mane so I don't know the problem you are having.  But what I can say is go to a salon they get it right every time.

I get my hair cut by a hair stylist these days. Used to have long hair most of my life. After that had a buzz cut for years. Only recently have a starting getting a proper haircut. Hy hairstylist is actually the lady friend of a fellow long time Shroomerite. It's a fancy salon in the more uppity side of town. She does a great job and gives me a special Shroomery discount.

Barbers are making me want to just cut my hair half ass and still walk around more satisfied than what I've been getting

Last time, I told them I just wanted to cut my beard length shorter and they proceeded to cut me a shape that made me look like the fucking v for vendetta mask shit like wtf lol

i guess i just never know what to say.. i usually just point at one of those hairstyle posters they have at barber shops and salons and cross my fingers hope they get it right. even when they asked me if the hair came out alright, even though it didnt, i can never tell them the truth, i say "yea its good", and tip them anyway regardless.

what do u peeps say?..

I literally just got back from a haircut at a salon I've recently taken a liking to. Always get tits rubbed on me. And a great fucking haircut. The hairwash and head massage also feels great, so relaxing.

OP, quit going to cheap barbers then, they normally just put out the same basic cuts for every guy who walks in. And pay more than ten dollars too, I left the woman a $10 just for a tip because she spent an actual hour on me making sure every little detail was perfect.

Shop around, find a good place you like, keep going to the same person, and tip well. A good mens cut normally runs around 25$.

The best thing about haircuts is that if you don't like it, just wait a few weeks and get something different.  My hairstyle has been the same for 35 years now.  Easy to cut and easy to maintain.  I sometimes wish it didn't grow so thick or so much gray in it.  Damn that gray hair!

Well i figured u guys bragging about the hair salon people rubbing their tits on you would be the creepy ones in this situation because i'd presume they do if accidentally or without thinking when theyre moving around cutting ur hair and ur making it seem like it's a thing. As if like, u go to get ur haircut and the ladies there are all horny and deliverately rubbing their tits all over u which i highly doubt happens


I'm sure my hair salon person has "rubbed her tits on me" i just never thought of it

Nah dude, I doubt it's cause they are horny. Its like some chicks in any job where they get tips as a big source of their income. They probably think it will get them better tips, just like waitresses with low cut blouses.

There has only been one chick who I actually thought did it because they may be interested, and she was my age and we got along well and was real flirty and shit, until I mentioned I had a girlfriend, the she kinda became a bitch and started fucking up the back of my head a lot.
