The Supermarket Thread - What did you get today?

Interested in seeing what everybody buys from the supermarket (or mini-market). Provide pics if you want! I want to in the future.

Today I first went to Whole Foods. I got their organic bananas and lemon. Is this not the season for bananas, at least in my area of New Jersey? They seem to brown quite fast. I got one with a little green peel in hopes it'd last longer.

I then went to Pathmark to pick up Welch's Natural Strawberry Spread, but the price was $3.99 so I held off to see what the price at A&P was. I saw a legendary Yankees broadcaster there (don't know/remember his name, I don't watch baseball). I've seen him before in two other stores in that strip mall. He's still rocking a Yankees ring. He was with two kids (grandchildren?) later on outside.

Finally I went to A&P. I bought spicy brown mustard, Welch's Natural Strawberry Spread, bread, olives, a sandwich, Goldfish, and Kraft cheese singles.

I didn't actually go shopping, but I went into my local supermarket for their pharmacy to pick something up. While there, I saw my dad's truck in the parking lot, he stopped there after work.

I've got a key to his truck so I figured I'd mess with him a bit. I opened it up and moved a bunch of shit (including a pair of boots and some Mcdonald's trash) onto his drivers seat, thinking hed be like "the fuck..." 

Well, i ask him about it when he gets home and he must have been so tired (or just shot in general, lol) that thought he left those things there, himself. I was like, ...why would you leave boots and trash on your drivers seat...



umm, but yeah, I need to go and pick up these:

I had them at a friend's the other day, so good.

4 bottles of gatorade.

I only really shop for that night's dinner and tonight I just cooked for myself, it was a left over steak I bought yesterday and some roasted butternut squash and corn from the garden.

Funny, I bought a few of the same items today as you fine folks.

Organic bananas
Organic apples
clementine oranges
berries
mixed melon
organic strawberry spread
Gatorade
organic carrot chips
bread
cinnamon bread

That's all I can remember.  Good stuff :thumbup:

zzzquil(I went a little overboard with the sleep aids)

blackberry jam
nutella
animal crackers


really just needed dog food and olive oil, and the card...and maybe the valerian capsules..the rest of the stuff I unwittingly acquired.
