Seriously guys write that LSD guy Rand Paul was talking about, or George Martorano. Hell he might not be peaceful (allegedly) enough for some of you guys but Clay Roueche is a solid dude worth dropping a line...or Sal Larca if you are into the Italian thing.

Or if you REALLY want to get Pickard out let him know about your illegal activities on the sly and afterwards when you get busted see if he gets a time cut...

Pickard was a piece of shit, you know how the DEA claim's there was a 90% decrease in LSD after the silo bust.
That's half true there was a decrease in LSD for a short period after, not because Pickard wasn't producing, because other "family's" he was connected to were scared of him rolling over on them like he did in the past.

It was because of Pickards production. The LSD market has never recovered. In '99 I was buying sheets for $100 or less, vials were plentiful, and even crystal was supposedly around although I never saw any. Its now 15 years later and I still have not seen plentiful acid since. It has come around a couple times at outragous prices but it has never been cheaply or freely available like it was when Pickard was producing. The other acid producers if there are any have never made the huge milti kilo batches needed to satuate the market and make acid cheap the way Pickard did. If they had then the acid would have been cheap and plentiful, which it never has been since Pickard went down.

Not true. The majority of pickard's L was shipped overseas. The reason the supply dropped was as Wonder Junkie said. It hasn't recovered, because one of the consequences of Pickard's bust/narcing was the re-structuring of the organizations. New blood to replace those that were known by Pickard. Many of these new people have completely different ethics then those that came before, so they held onto supply & released slowly. As did those that picked up pre-laid in bulk, so as to to jack the price up. Silver Family puts out their crystal by the multi-kilo, though it's released every few years. I put in a few years of work post-Pickard, and I saw how much was out there. I did tours where 30 gs of crystal was laid & sold per weekend run/festival. That L spread, but people down the line held onto it & sold it slowly to increase the demand.

The DEA's multi-kilo claims of Pickard are hopped up bullshit. He was caught with grams of L, not kilos......the DEA claimed that every chemical they cleaned out of the silo was LSD to make themselves sound better. Also, Pickard & crew rolled on their ET source in 2000, necessitating new sources for precursors, which also slowed things down.

Dark star where did you obtain this tidbit? I've heard this mentioned before but have never had proof. I always had officially heard he didn't rat at all and the ET dried up due to the source fleeing due to the bust. Never seen any arrests in that regard. What would ratting on the ET guy do? Give him a less than double life sentence?.....

Relative to Pickard being a rat, this is from an old anonymous post in a chinacat thread. Doesn't mention how he ratted on the rainbow family in '88 but obviously we all know about that bust.

Not an agent exactly, more like a confidential source constantly keeping tabs. But it would make a lot of sense as to why Clearlight got taken down.

Well according to media articles written on the case Pickard had been working for Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement in Cali and at least one other agency. IIRC I couldn't find that info in any of the court docs that I've been able to compile. But then again I don't even really have transcripts where Pickard is even on the stand :/ Also if Pickard was in as deep as anonymous claimed then I'm pretty sure US agents would not want that info getting out to the public.
