Anyone like to play disc golf?

It's a pretty fun game. Kinda like golf but throwing around specialized disks similar to what one might call a "frisbee". I'm told by people serious about the game that it is not to be called "Frisbee golf".

Seems to usually involve walking through the woods throwing frisbees at stuff while drinking beers and smoking bowls.

Anyone ever play?

Discuss intelligently.

I enjoy doing it but I'm always like two above par. Practice makes perfect I guess.

I really suck at driving, but my mid range and putting is decent. I've never had a great arm for throwing long distances though.

We would usually smoke up beforehand and then head to the course.

really we allways had bud with us, smoked joints or chilliums. on the course. no one cared.

Disc golf is the ultimate stoner game :bigyesnod:

Haven't really played it but a few times but I really enjoyed it, gotta go again some time

Dude hell yeah we play. It's been a while though and I suck haha. Ordered a custom disc though (+5 and props to the first to call the game). I have yet to throw it, it's one of 3 things hanging on the wall. :wink:

I made a basket for my backyard. It's good for practicing mid range and putting.

disc golf fuckin sucks. ill play real golf instead

frisbee sucks too. its a stupid stoner game

throwing around a football or a baseball is so much more fun

Throwing a frisbee can be super fun too. We used to do it at family gatherings and I had a blast:). Also at beach bonfires, with those light up frisbees :awesome:

So much wrong with this I don't know where to start... maybe move out of the swamp without 3rd generation mosquitoes and you might enjoy it more.

But throwing baseball more fun? Maybe you meant 8ball

I love disc golf. Such a fun leisurely game and you can even get competitive with it if you want. I like games where I compete against my own best scores. Best game to play while stoned ever. And it's free in most parks.

Do you find the regular version of golf to take skill? Does the use of a d stick like club entail where the real skill set starts?

Just curious, guess yiu just dislike the game.

Let's play then! If it takes no athletic skill then it should be easy right? So I guess regular golf has no athletic skill either?

yes, real golf is much harder and actually requires skill

I play disc golf several times a week, there is a course right by my work so we can usually get 9 or 18 in between our actually responsibilities.

Seems like most people throw Innova because its the easiest brand to find in stores but I really dislike their gear and prefer to use Dyanamic Discs or Latitude64 discs.

Anyone else have a preference?
