A dream, Its a nightmare!!!!
They in reality eat everything mushroom related and you will get tiny maggets eatiting your mushrooms from the inside out. I tryed to get rid of them once using those sticky fly paper things but they never went away and evenualy no mushrooms came up either. THey are called Fungus flys!!! I'm glas its just a dream other wise you'd be Phucked!!!

I have seen posts that say a few mothballs in the terrarium will drive away these flies. In reptile care, we often use a piece of No-Pest Strip in a perforated yogurt cup to drive away pests including blood mites. You think flies are tough? Try blood mites. The cup of No-Pest Strip can be sealed into the cage for about 24 hours. After that, air out the cage and no more pests. I don't see why it could not be used similarly in a terrarium.
