Why do people have to shit on others taste in music?

I mean, I know people who absolutely LOVE phish. I can't stand phish, seen em live, atmosphere is festive, doesn't change the fact that I find their sound incredibly boring, practically puts me to sleep. Does that mean you can't like them? No, of course not, people enjoy different sounds.

Yea sublime hasn't been "cool" for a while, why does that mean their music and sound suddenly lose value?

It's all the same thing, whether it has to do with music, culture, ethinciity, etc, its people shitting on people for being different. No one can just do their own thing anymore:rolleyes:
