do many of you listen to Long Beach Dub Allstars? pretty good, but it really shows that Nowell made Sublime.

The new Slightly Stoopid CD kicks all kinds of ass.  My all time favorite will always be Acoustic Roots.  That's where all the soul in ska lies...the acoustic tracks.  :heart:

Brad didn't 'make' Sublime.  It was a  contribution from each and every band member.  They were something amazing together...you know?

There is a Sublime tribute CD coming out June 21st I beleive.  There is a No Doubt acousitc track Boss DJ's... it's really badass.

lbdas were kind of a splash in the pan, they broke up ...they were good, 2nd album was weak...slightly stoopid is where its at right now with that type of music (lead singer miles was brad nowell's protege)

'shallow' may be an overstatement. :rolleyes:
I dunno, it's the same reason I can never get *too* into someone like Keller Williams.
The music just seems too.... unmeaningful or lacking of depth. :shrug:

Maybe I've just been spoiled by Tool...  :tongue2:

I've recently picked up 40 oz. to Freedom, it's such a great cd, Bradley really knew how to write good songs.

Sublime used to be my favorite band, but now i dont enjoy them near as much, I think i listened to them way too much when i was younger.

Now I dont listen to Sublime much at all, I find alot of other bands music to be more enjoyable :laugh: than sublime
