Yeah it could've used more Godzilla, but I'm glad it wasn't Godzilla throughout the whole movie either. If there were twice as much Godzilla I think it'd be perfect. Also yeah didn't really give a shit about that Ford guy, I was expecting more Cranston.

Went to see the movie on Saturday i give it 7/10 was good but not something to watch twice .... What grinds my gears is the scene switch and how they did it for example (Big monster is walking starts to dig a hole is it about to lay its eggs?) we will never find out because we switch the scenes to some sad family stuff. This happened like 90% of the time when shit starts to get real and go down booom! scene switch

....
It was funny as fuck tho when that Japanese guy said Godzilla the first 2 times everyone in the movie theater busted out a chuckle.

yeah he said it exactly like how they did in the old godzilla movies. that was actually funny

id rather watch a movie about godzilla ruining cities and beating other monsters than some drama about a family and character no one cares about

I would say this movie is more like a Harrison Ford played by Bryan Cranston trying to get back his family with cut scenes of 2 and a half monsters entering city's.

I'm glad there wasnt too much Godzilla, otherwise it would have been a gratuitious "Alien vs Predator" movie. But then again, the love story was shit. Monster movies dont need love subplots, nor crying women.

I wanted to hate Pacific Rim because they made it so the mechs had to be piloted by two people, and it was obviously done so they could incorporate a love story into the movie and have it effect the main story.

The movie was alright, I liked the monsters and mechs but the whole "lols two people controlling one thing" reminded me of some shitty voltron rip off.
