Rimshot Icon

I'd like to see one of these things...

no, HB, I didn't say RIMJOB, perv.

I'll try to make one, possibly animated,
but in the interim I thought I'd challenge
my fellow members to give it a shot.

That would be cool, but I don't know how you'd do it...

PS: A rimshot is something the drummer plays to accent the punchline of a stand-up comedian's joke...

Example...

"I just flew into the airport, and boy, are my arms tired!" *rimshot*

so thats what *rimshot* means?

damn, I always thought it meant like weak point in an arguement or something, you know like "That phallacious arguement was a real rimshot..."

I dunno, Its wierd that I would think in terms of basketball instead of music since I'm a musician and not a sports fan... but thats what I always thought *rimshot* meant

boy do I feel dumb

I think those sorts of arguments only occur in OTD. You know, the "my cock's bigger than yours" type of argument...

Therefor, that was sort of an erogenous statement*... :smirk:

*Word play based on a couple of popular book titles from the 70s, which may be lost on younger viewers.

you could always just make a cymbol with a drumstick next to it or something

it's got to be animated...
like two drum sticks hiting
a drum and then the symbol
but I don't know how to make
it happen.
