I was just wondering is Paxil considerd as a MAOI? Im planning to trip tomorrow but Im limited to 2 grams and was wanting to have a little stonger trip. Thanks to those who answer.

He wasn't, he's planning on taking an SSRI with Mushrooms, which, especially since its Paxil, will probably decrease effects greatly.

Paxil will decrease psychedelic effects.

I was curious, however, as to whether anybody has used st. john's wort as an MAOI? and what about passionflower tea? would a glass or 2 make a difference? And do MAOI's potentiate acid?

I dont think he is on paxil, i think he is looking for an MAOI, and was wondering if paxil was an MAOI. And if he doesnt know what an SSRI or MAOI are, then I feel obligated to help prevent problems. Hence, the information I posted.

Ive never seen anything about St Johns Wort being an effective MAOI, a bottle I had once didnt even list a warning, but i have seen one document on passionflower. Gracie and Zarkov - Three Beta Carboline containing plants

You can get syrian rue at certain middle eastern markets. It is marketed as "esphand" and is sold as a dye additive. Check this out Syrian Rue

Yeah, there are several ethnos which are marked up by ethno dealers due to demand. But if you go to markets and such, you can get it for what they think its worth, (they probably dont even know why you want it) and its a lot cheaper.
