People have to buy whats in the market. This is just a little trick to screw with the figures to make the administration look better. They pull many tricks to fudge the unemployment figures too.

Exactly.  Prices are rising yet they offset it by saying "technologic advancement" and all of a sudden the CPI rises lower than prices.

There is only one employment figure worth reporting.  Average number of hours worked by all working age adults.

They also use substitutions to fudge CPI. for example;  if the price of salmon rises they figure more people will eat cod so they substitute the price of cod as being the price of salmon.
