That is the juxtaposition of this problem! If wages increase proportionately more than everything else, you create a cascade of reactions that have a HUGE IMPACT.

And that comment was regarding how teenage pregnancy while on minimum wage is an inherently bad idea. That yes, the prices are inflating, and yet money is being pulled from my wallet to pay for that. Why should I pay for their fun escapades?

Akuma- who suffers? The people? I don't think so. They're getting paid more than they ought be. Business gets the short stick. Again they outsource, they close, all the same, the worker loses.

Yep they hand out pamphlets at walmart and fast food places tellin you how to work the system. Not raising the min wage is actually causing taxpayers more. They own the country we can talk all we want but we truly have no say. :shrug:

the worker you portray is an idea. it's slightly askew from reality.

but i agree, business suffers... the owner(s), the workers, and people in general, lest the people whom discard the suffering, suffer.

however, what do you expect those people to do? not work, and suffer more because they might affect this fine balance?

i don't work, and by doing so i get shit on for it.

Thats really not my problem if you have kids and you have minimum skills whose fault is that? If you have a family and you make minimum wage you really need to update your skills.

Yeah this is true why does a highschool kid flippin burgers deserve 10 bucks an hour or some shit, they don't. They deserve like 5-6 bucks, maybe 7 if they are a super flipper

You should get paid based on the quality of your work not because the feds demand it so

Thats why there should be no minimum wage a worker could negotiate his wages instead of the state mandating it.

every job i have had in my working life 2 careers has been exactly that. you get paid based on skill set one has towards the position they signed up for..

i dont get why the government wants to fuck with it.  its like saying a greeter or receptionist deserves 15 - 20 dollars to say hello to people and work a switch board

thats an insult to skilled people that are actually getting screwed by their employer

No sane company would want to treat its employees poorly since its a constant competition for labor. Besides no one points a gun to your head and forces you to work at burger king :lol:. Oh and distribution of wealth is irrelevant since the amount is not fixed.
