I had mine removed in one sitting. Dentist suggested 2 one week, 2 the next, I asked him to just pull 'em all in one visit.
They were coming in crooked and had to go.

TBH,  I would rather have 4 teeth pulled then to endure the pain of recovery from foot surgery.

Same here. I had mine surgically extracted. Didn't remember a thing. Plus they sent me home with percocet and vicodin because I told them the tylenol in vicodin would make my tum tum hurt, it was a Friday and the doctor didn't want me to be in pain all weekend so I had some good drugs. Had to eat pudding and French fries for 3 days but it was fine.

I remember a little bit of it happening but it was not unpleasant in the least. For the surgery they gave me nitrous and IV valium and fentanyl, and afterwards I got percocet. They had some funny name for the drug regimen like the "twilight special".

My dentist kept telling me I needed to get them removed but I ignored him because I felt fine. They ended up coming in with no pain or anything. I got a new dentist and he said they were fine and I didn't need them removed.

A lot of dentists will try to do unnecessary procedures to make a buck.  And sometimes you can't tell if they need to be removed til they grow in a bit, maybe your first dentist was expecting they would be troublesome.  That's unusual that they grew in with no pain.  Mine grew in fine but quite a few times they caused some growing pains.

The place I worked at wouldnt use it, too dangerous takes a special license if I'm not mistaken.  Some people freak out on it too.  After some lidocaine or novocaine you're not feeling shit anyway.  It's funny, we'd get the ones in at our office that would swear the stuff got them high, placebo effect.  God do I hate those shots though, they'll put an automatic tear to my eye sometimes.

I cant tell you how many people I've seen projectile vomit due to gagging.  As soon as the impression tray goes into their mouth they start to drool like a st bernard.

I had a root canal with just novocaine and it was terrible. Didn't really feel pain but it was very unpleasant having to keep my mouth open for so long. The sound of the drill doesn't help either.

I had an IV in and everything. Had me count to 5 and I don't remember even getting to 3.

yea novacaine sucks but nitrous or whatever the black out is rocks and then you get to sit around on drugs a couple days so why not. especially at first you may be ok like i was and thought fuck that that's bullshit why was i born with them just to get taken out ?!!  but a year later that shit hurt and got alot of headaches so c-ya loser ass wisdom teeth,tought me a lesson though.
