Three Secrets of Fatima

Three kids in 1917 claimed to be meeting with a heavenly entity known as "Our Lady" on the 13th of every month, beginning from may 13th up the 13th of october, when the kids predicted she would perform a miracle to prove her existence or some such or other.

anyways, on that day of october, witnessed by some 70,000-100,000 people was an event witnesses described as "the sun dancing, twirling, falling upon us" etc...

Astrological reports and eyewitness accounts outside of 40mi from Fatima report a normal sun that day.

Apparently, there were three secret 'prophesies' given to the children from "Our Lady" during those times..

What do you make of all this?!

I mean, weird shit can't be documented in the usual sense, therefore you can't really argue for it but can easily argue against it.

In "Be Here Now" Ram Dass discusses how his guru was able to know his thoughts just by being with him.  I don't think he's making this up, but it's easy to say that's bullshit.

Even if this account is true, what does it do for us as a species?
We still would have countless unanswered questions.

Well, I think its rather obvious that they saw something odd that day, whether by natural or supernatural means we cannot really say, but it is interesting, and highly coincidental that the prediction came true..this event, which had already been quite hyped religiously as such before it even occurred as word spread about the three little kids speaking with "Our Lady",
and that do to this hyping, likely succumbed to a religious interpretation and may have a perfectly natural explanation.

It is possible that what they saw and called a "dancing sun" is what we would call today a 'UFO'.

Or maybe, the kids got a hold of some elaborate fireworks, and concocted master prank.

Regardless, millions of people were said to have converted to Catholicism after the so-called "Miracle at Fatima" was officially made/claimed by the Catholic church as being catholic in nature.

How do you explain 50,000 people in Phoenix, AZ in 1997 claiming to see an alien mother ship when it was just military flares and getting nearly every single fact about the sighting wrong?

There were allegedly two distinct events involved in the incident: a triangular formation of lights seen to pass over the state, and a series of stationary lights seen in the Phoenix area.
The stationary lights were the military flares, the triangular formation remains unexplained.

if you have the evidence that the triangular formation was just military flares, kudos, if not, your claim is incomplete and baseless, the product of selective nitpicking.

The flares were demonstrated from those sending in videos of the 'overhead' (actually 50 miles away) triangular formation. The case is closed except to those who reside in fantasyland.

One day I was at work and was called outside to find the sky was orange, like sherbert orange. The bricks and the road and everything were a weird color like a cartoon. It lasted 5 minutes and seemed like a long time. A lot of people were coming outside to look at it. Not the same as Fatima but I was reminded of it.

As far as a multi-colored display perhaps it was a giant solar flare? If I remember correctly a solar flare has the potential to light up the aurora lights at lower latitudes. I don't know how it would affect the atmosphere, but if it could cause a disturbance it might make the sun go wavy too. :shrug:

Nope, you're just assuming. You shared a fiction story made up by a bunch of retards who couldn't comprehend what they were seeing and made up some kind of story because they couldn't come up with a logical explanation

Pretty simple. Not sure where you got the whole assuming you made the claim and my butthurtz, but you'll be fine and I'm fine, the world moves on

Symington said that he contacted the military asking what the lights were. The response was "no comment".  He was the governor of Arizona at the time, not just some ordinary civilian.

I was at the beach and saw a light, thought it was a plane til other lights started coming on and off at 'un-natural' angles. Like 3-5 and more in total at crazy angles. Then larger lights appeared above the horizon and hovered before fading out. The experience of the un-experienced usually carries a heightened sense of curiosity or fear. Turns out there was a military base nearby conducting stealth fighter training offshore.
