Yeah I reported this to Ythan at 4:40 am in the Pacific Northwest and now it is recuuring.

It is also topiced in the OFf topic discussion topics.

I have not, nor has anyone else yet received a reply.

Hey there. A couple of people have reported this (so it's not your computer), but I'm having a tough time reproducing the error. I'll look into it and see if I can find where the problem originates, but it'd be very helpful if I could hear from anyone who's experienced the error, with detailed information about what you did that caused it.

Well, I've gotten the error when I click on:

1. Shroomery Message Board (Earlier, I could not get past this for several hours)

2. Forums link

3. Topics link

4. Post Reply

Now, the links will work sometimes, and sometimes I'll get the error. I may get the error several times from the same link before success.

I have an alternate internet account with a university, though it is slow. I can try to use that one and see if I get the error, if this would help diagnose the problem.

I think the idea of computers "misbehaving" is kind of funny. Maybe you should give it a stern lecture and threaten to give it a whoopin :smile:

Thanks a lot for your help. I know this shit happens, it's just an inevitable part of having a computer. My PC misbehaves all the time, but I still love it!

By the way, would you prefer that I Email you about this kind of stuff, or use this forum? Thanks.

This problem has been fixed as of a couple minutes ago, we had a bit of down-time, but it's all good now. Later.

Okay. It turns out that somehow our server got donald ducked, and that's what was causing the errors. A reboot seems to have fixed it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Mushroom John - either is fine; e-mail reaches me quicker, but the BB thread let me know that other people were having the same problem and it wasn't an isolated incident. Probably if it's a serious error, affecting a popular part of the Shroomery (like this one), then both an e-mail and a BB post would be good. If it's not so serious, just an e-mail will suffice.

ANYway, glad it's all working now. :smile:
