I hate it.

But not because I'm Mexican and it's a demeaning and "offensive" slang word for my people. I hate it because of the fact that people think I actually care when they call me that. Like wow, that's really the best you could do? No other Mexican in my family or around me has ever cared for the word either. People think we still get all butt hurt about it like black people do with "the N word", but really it's just a stupid, meaningless term for Mexicans that needs to die out.
