Ballest question

I left my grow ballest in a garage over the winter.
It is a WEX120-600B by welthink.
Looks like this but its not the dimmable type

I read some ballets have oils in them that can freeze and break it.
Question is should it be ok having been in a unheated garage all winter?
I would use a bulb to test it but dont have one right now.

The only thing you can really do is test it man. I would turn it on and then watch the temp the ballast gets up to for a bit to make sure it doesn't seem like it's overheating. I think it should be good dude, cold rarely damages electronics nearly as much as heat does.

Im kinda thinking it should be ok also its just the oil thing im unsure of. would turning it on do anything? I would need the bulb to complete the circuit.

What have you got to lose? It's either going to work or flip your breaker.
