Shark Kills!

This article has the alarming headline "Shark Kills Number 100 Million Annually." Anyone casually glancing at the website would naturally be forgiven for thinking that sharks had killed 100 million people and would want to click the article and read it.

I did. And I was fooled; it was sharks that were being killed. But doesn't this suggest that the article had purposely been titled in this fashion to attract clicks deceptively?

For that matter, did you click on my post because of how I titled it? Think about it...

I clicked because I know how absurd and pointless most of your threads are, so I figured this one would be no different.
