Thought theobromine and caffeine were together in Coffee beans. Maybe it's chocolate?

Could be wrong though... I don't have any negatives from caffeine so doesn't really apply to me :shrug:

Amphetamines are a good substitute. Sounds more like a personal preference, your theobromine & you just dislike caffeine. Both lists seem extremely over the top.

Eat an apple in the morning instead of drinking coffee. You'll be more awake an more energetic.

Bunch of bullshit really, I eat two apples (green/red) and a clementine, it doesn't wake me up as caffeine does. Not even a daily drinker either.

I'm just not a morning person in general though :p

Try yerba mate. Tasty caffeine south american tea thang. Suppose to be a different more effecient form of caffeine. Still need to read up on it. Bought a bunch of dry leaf yesterday

In all seriousness though i don't get much from caffeine.like theres a ceiling for me, the first cup of coffee perks me up and thats about it. i can drink two pots and not get "jittery".

herba mate is good though, i actually like it alot but coffee is my go to . ill check out your suggestion op.

Raw Cocoa Nibs. (aka Cacao Nibs)

Thats basically the fermented cocoa beans in their natural form. They taste insanely good, have a higher percentage of antoxidants than ANY food and are choc full of theobromine.

I just bought these energy supplements online and they have theobromine, caffeine, syn-ephedrine.. shit works alright.


Also starbucks hot coco the big ass tin cans you can buy is really high in theobromine..

Everywhere online! There's quite a hype surrounding them. You must of course realize that although they are choc full of healthy stuff, its of course never healthy to take stimulants like theobromine or caffeine.

Crunching some cocoa nibs (recommended dose 1-10gr a day) definitely is healthier than drinking coffee, and given the vast amounts of antioxidants its probably as good or better than green tea.

Its super convenient for people on the go, rather than brewing something you just pop a teaspoon of granules in your mouth, eat em up and you got your shot of stim & health.

Not to mention mate contains theobromine. I'm actually in love with mate and even sipping on my favorite Brazilian one right now. I usually have a least 3 lbs of it at any given time and several different varieties. Since I'm from the states I went and designed my own personal mate tradition. Everyone who I've ever made it for loved it!

Most raw cacao on the market is Theobromine cacoa. I'm not into cacoa but Arriba nacional is the heirloom legit variety and that's the only kind I would pay money for.

I swear there's something about apples, and I think they are way underrated. If I had to pick one food that makes me feel good and energized it would be apples. I truly have no clue what it is about them.
