Lieing on an application is only illegal if its the government.  Skip all your crazy ideas.  Find a business that is not advertising open positions like a small business.  A nursery, engine repair, something and walk in ask for owner, shake their hand introduce yourself and ask if they need any help.  You WILL find a job that way and it probably will pay more then denny's.

no obviously i wouldn't tell the truth . that would defeat the purpose . i would get an interview and they ask about my degree and i say i lied , wtf this couldn't be what u are implying here ?

why is everyone here so against this anyway ?

I'm gonna guess it might be because there are easier ways to break the law and make money. Why commit a felony to make less than $10 an hour?

By the way I'm sure your googling result of "i think it is actually technically not ilegal" will stand up in court.  :2cents:

I don't think it is illegal , i looked it up a lot of times . Probably to know for sure i would have to ask a lawyer .

i feel like you are attacking me DeeBee .

There are many people who provide false info on their resume about having a  bachelor's degree in something and the employeer doesn't even check the diploma . They get hired and that's usually the end . if they are fired for it i doubt the company would take it to court or contact police to let them know .

If you're having this much trouble finding a job just imagine how much harder it will be with a fraud charge. 

Try it and update the thread.  Hopefully I'm wrong if you do go through with it.

This was just a thought ( the fake diploma part ) , and if i ever tried to apply this thought to reality then i would definitely let you know how it went .

The fake id part i am planning on doing soon .I'll let you know .


All i want is to retire early and live in Europe with my life partner , that's a dream of mine i suppose .

Your never going to be able to retire on any job you get at 19.  Again skip the crazy schemes just buy a book on programming or Unix administration or networking.  Hell most of those things can be learned for free online.  Once you read up on one of type topics you could easily get 50-60k a year salary job with full benefits.  Or go to college and get a degree in financial planning or become a stock broker etc you could make millions in a few short years.  People know your young and don't know shit they will still hire you though.

Hey OP, if there's really no work in your town then leave to a big city. There is always work in most big cities

Have you tried looking into temp agencies? They'll hook you up with something real quick, although the pay will be minimum wage.
