Is there so much DEA red tape that the State can't even order a domestic custom synthesis of Pentobarbital for its own lawful executions?
Well fuck.

I'm against capital punishment. But if you do it, do it right. Pentobarbital sodium is all you need, infuse that and the organism shuts down humanely until certain death ensues.

Honestly Who gives a flying fuck if this asshole suffered. He should have been executed much sooner. All the appeals and other bullshit is what cost so much money.

Rapist pedophiles deserve nothing less then castration.

I think prison for people like this should be as inhuman and cruel as possible.

Human rights for people like these give me a break :2cents:

Keeping them alive, prolonging their death and suffering... usually does nothing but cause pain to the victim.

I mean, if we're just picking Constitutional amendments to throw out (like you're doing with the 8th Amendment re: no cruel and unusual punishment), why not go for one that'd be universally approved for deletion, like the Third Amendment?  Seriously, who's faced with getting soldiers quartered in their house anymore?

An execution has executioners and witnesses. For a non-sociopathic human, watching someone die is always a very significant event. You want to euthanize the prisoner in an execution, not just to end their life certainly and humanely, but also not to upset or even traumatize the executioners and witnesses.

Im not for keeping him alive Im for killing this asshole.

I wish that everyone in the human race would be all fluffy kitten lovers but we are not.

There are people out there who are just horrible people beyond any rehabilitation .

Im not saying lets kill them all but in extreme cases like this He got off light IMO.

Some fucked up shit. I really wonder how it feels to die that way. But if it was your wife or mother who was raped and killed you probably wouldn't feel bad. Though it is fucked up the US still executes people

This.  All I remember was coming back to consciousness.  The one's I've witness the person goes out and turns blue.  There isn't a struggle.

But still, it seems really fucked up they'd include Dilaudid in the cocktail.

The guy got off easy with a lethal injection IMO. People like that deserve much worse if they have made others suffer the way that man made Joy Stewart (his victim) suffer. The suffering didn't stop with her, it continues to this day with her family. 

Maybe a good punishment for rape-murder perpetrators would to force them on to a Judas Cradle and hit with a blunt object like a 15-20lb hammer every 15 minutes til they expire. While constantly being flailed with a thin stick, stinging and leaving welts all over.

God, this country is retarded. We think we have the best justice system in the world, but we can't even execute people properly. I can think of a number of cocktails that would work in less than a minute before I'm done typing this sentence. what happened to using potassium chloride to stop the heart. You can get that at the grocery store.

How is it more costly than keeping them in prison? It costs like $100 a day to house someone, and it costs probably $2 in medications to execute. That being said they need to use much higher dosages to keep it 'humane'.

200 MG of Hydromorphone and a bunch of benzo's (like 40 MG of Alprazalam) and the prisoner will fall out immediately and die very quickly.

No cocktails.  Cocktails is where lethal injection goes wrong. One drug, that is sedation, anesthesia and euthanasia in one, and which will only will effect that sequence in that order with absolute certainty.

That substance is Pentobarbital, easy to synth and effective.
