Ted "the swimmer" Kennedy

For those that have either forgotten or were too young to remember.

Chappaquiddick

--------------------
You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

I guess you can get away with anything as long as your name is Kennedy. That's amazing.

It's worse than amazing. It's pathetic.

If the subject interests you read up on William Kennedy Smith.

Actually, most of the Kennedys make for interesting reading.

Senator Kennedy Has Malignant Brain Tumor

"Senator Edward M. Kennedy has a malignant tumor in his brain, his doctors said Tuesday. they indicated that Mr. Kennedy, 76, has a type of cancer known as a malignant glioma in the left parietal lobe, the upper left portion of his brain.

Dang. That ain't good. Explains some of his votes, though.

I hope he recovers, but not enough to return to work. He's served long enough to be able to retire with a clear conscience.

What he did to Mary Jo Kopechne was Evil.

I'd spit on the Bastards grave.

  The only way that fuck would have a clear conscience is if he were a sociopath.  Any normal person would have spent the rest of his life consumed with guilt over the murder of Mary Jo Kopechne.

i think he means that he can retire from the senate, knowing he did all he could, career-wise. i don't know if ole teddy boy still feels any guilt about what happened that night, but he very well should. if he had called 911 and reported the accident right after it happened, theres a very good chance that she may have been saved. that is unforgivable in my opinion. i remember dennis leary saying we killed all the wrong people in this country "we kill john, we kill bobby and leave ted" - something like that.

that aside, i'm sorry to hear he has a brain tumor. my grandmother on my father's side suffered from the same thing, and its a horrible way to die.

Ted Kennedy has a massive head that is the size of two, maybe three bowling balls.

Any tumor would take years to fill up that gourd. I give him at least another ten years.

he plead guilty to abandoning his car and "knowingly causing injury" to Mary Jo. he was sentenced to 2 months, but the sentence was suspended.
