i feel helpless lol comcast is the only provider i can get where i live, and they dont offer an unlimited gb package deal

Maybe you could bluff 'em.. Maybe they don't know they're the only provider.. I mean they didn't even know they had a hub nearby.. Tell 'em to hook you up or you're going elsewhere with your business.  :yesnod:

I had a 300 GB package until a while ago and I rarely went over it, haven't kept track since I switched to an unlimited plan. A lot of major Canadian ISPs had ridiculous limits and overage charges until pretty recently. The big companies were all butthurt about fewer people getting cable or satellite TV so they were trying to punish downloading. 60 GB limits (or lower) were pretty common and it was possible to rack up some pretty insane overages. I use a smaller ISP that has been reasonable for longer.
