Look for a better or 2nd job

Im sure this card has been played before, but just looking for suggestions.  Currently working at a seafood restaurant/ bar. Ive bussed, dishwashed, shelfed, barbacked and ran food. Everything expect wait and bartenter/ manage.  Really need to find a 2nd or better job thou cause i cant wait on them to think im ready to be a server. I need money now.  I was thinking Barbacking at a real late night bar. My brother was telling me warehouse work.  I was thinking with my experience at my current job that it shouldnt be too hard to get a serving position somewhere else.  Those people make alot of money. My friends works as a machinist for a Canadian oil company and banks every check. Oil seems to be a big thing where im at (Gulf Coast).  WWYD?

Apply for assistant manager jobs in resturaunts and bars. You have the experience for that and should be working your way out of dishwashing. Do you think you could run the place you work at now? You have to let those in charge know you're a valuable and ambitious worker and can handle more responsibilities.

I like washing dishes if I made more than 9 dollars an hour it would a dream job.

9 dollars an hour to wash dishes is plush. I made 5.75 doing that.

You already know the ins and out of the service industry. Just apply somewhere else as a server. You already know as much as they do. Except you do more work for less.
You could barback, it's fun and you make money. I bartend in a major city and I still apply as a barback sometimes cause you can make $600-750 a week just bar caking a few nights a week.
Serving/bartending/barbacking is easy(once you find your flow).
Or ask to be promoted. If you've shown your loyal they shouldn't say no.
