And I am not trying to argue, I was speaking my mind about a band. And the original comment was more to joke than anything. I already am never going to do heroin.

And again, their music just does not appeal to me. I am not revolted by it by any means. They are talented musicians. They just do not play music that I can groove to.

Well here goes:

tom waits, nick cave and the bad seeds, gogol bordello, johnny cash, less claypool, buckethead, the doors, pink floyd, uriah heap, deep purple, rush, the gorillaz, space monkeys vs. the gorillaz, easy star allstars, the beatles, sublime, squirrel nut zippers, war, marylin manson, jack white, iron maiden, the pixies, mike patton, kaada/patton, rising appalachia, the human experience, bluetech, thriftworks, ott and the all seeing eye, children of bodom, gwar, horse the band, hank williams 1 and 3, march fourth marching band, mad professor, lee perry, the twinkle brothers, yabby you, the skatalites, agustus pablo, midnite, groundation, eek a mouse, barington levi, u-roy, big youth, martin campbell, prince fari, ini kamoze, alpha blondy, wayne jerret, horace andy, hugh mundell, josey wales, burning spear, ras michael . . .

And many many many more . . .

Oh yea, and actually I do like nirvana as well as alice in chains. They are both good bands, but I would have to go with nirvana because it is a little more nostalgic for me.

oh cool! you coulda said that in the first place... or you know... just let me tell my jokes about Deadheads and move on, being that i wasn't trying to argue with you, or insult you, either. all i said was... stick to Nirvana. which means nothing, in general. continue.

Yeah patton is awesome. If you have never checked out the kaada/patton album here, all of the songs are good in their own way, but I feel it is better when listened to as one whole composition

lol yeah that is just a fraction of the shit I listen to. and I would be the first to admit that I am picky when it comes to music, but I try not to criticize music even if I do not enjoy it. I mean they made it so they enjoyed it, obviously other people are destined enjoy it as well

yeah, most likely. :fonda:

i know about the Romances album. i haven't actually heard it in a long time. that's when he started doing his "pop projects" right? like Peeping Tom came after the Kaada/Patton album, i think... and that Dan The Automator album came before that, right? damn, it's been so long since i was a Patton shmooler. i had all his albums... damn... when i used to buy albums!1
