My favorite Phish song

Has to be It's Ice. If you haven't already, go download this song. Trey's unique riffs and mike's funky bombs going back and forth. And pages vocals.  :heart: Then the jam. Such a great song.

Probably one of their most technical songs, I've heard some fucking train wrecks happen when they attempted that one. I don't know I don't even listen to this band anymore, I might hit a show some day again but I lost interest in Phish for some wierd reason.

I know what you mean. I never actually listen to phish's music except when I'm at a concert. I used to only listen to Phish and started to burn myself out. Now I try to listen to as many genres as I can. Right now i'm all about jazz. Scofield, Charlie parker, MMW etc.

I went jazz to man, I listened to nothing but Phish for like nearly a year, I got alot of shit for it but they did open me up to roots music and thats a really great thing, I just got stuck on them to the point of burning them out.

It's all about the Miles man, Sun Ra, MMW, Sco, ect.. to much interesting powerful terrain out there get stuck on one band.

I got into a lot of old blues lately to, howling wolf, robert johson, hooker, alot of guys I can hardly name, my roomate is huge into blues and has a nice collection, it works out well with my nice jazz entourage.

my fave phish song is probably...i dont even know, i'm trying to think, but nothing comes to mind.........piper is sweet, i agree, it's ice is awsome....brother....fee.....glide....i like their version of ginseng sullivan....mikes song....
Did any of you see mmw at bonnaroo? they were so tight, i've never heard dropper played so sweet before! I know theres no real front man in the band, but it seems like everysong they play, each of them take their turns being front
