Is there any way to withdraw the BTCs left in the account on SR? I have the wallet address and the transaction history. The feds only seized the guy's virtual wallet and the BTCs in escrow, so I assume that the user account wallets are safe?

Why don't you ask the FBI if you can have your silk road money back?
I'm sorry, but that ship has sailed. Some people lost tens of thousands. A few people lost hundreds of thousands. Chalk it off as a loss like everybody else. It's gone.
There's nothing anyone can do about it.
Move on.

If you loan a drug dealer money and he gets popped with it, do you get it back?

You think any one person really lost tens or hundreds of thousands? You think there were actually transactions that big over SR?

I only lost about .0082 that was leftover. Luckily I spent it all the week before. Shit's sad man. Let it be a lesson to not keep your money in a website that could be seized any day.

I never really thought of it that way, but my go to cannabis vendor was like that. They spent more time in stealth mode with active listings than anything else.
