I'm surprised I didn't see this in here already.

How would one go about making shroom filled chocolates? maybe just dice them up and put them in a chocolate mold with...chocolate?

i made some with ice cube trays. chopped them up and just stuck the in the melted choc. then put in freezer. this a good way to store them too.crack the tray like you would getting ice cubes. and there you go.

I think the supermarket carries several types of chocolates that melt in the microwave (the kind you use for dipping strawberries)I had some in my cupboard recently but I forget the name. It comes in a paper container. This should work......peace

Double boiler or a glass bowl in a pot of water, you dont want the chocolate to loose it's temper so never heat it on direct heat.

Mixing the additives or flavorings to the melted chocolate is easy but time consuming, mix in a little at a time and mix it thouroughly each time to encorporate the ingredients. folding the chocolate into a couple of beaten egg whites (hard peaks like merangue without sugar) will make them a little lighter and more palatable. Normaly they are still pretty nasty.

Chocolate molds are pretty cheap and it makes it easier to control the dosage with smaller chocolates. Holiday and occasion themes of the molds that are available thay add a little to the visual presentation.
