You guys who have knee jerk reactions to the liberal views bit are terrifyingly inept at understanding statistics.

Statistics is not partial. It is a mathematical representation of data. It doesn't care what you think, how it makes you feel, whether it insults you, it deals with objective truths.

I am personally a libertarian, the current (mis)use of the term "liberal" in the US makes it hard to place libertarians, but from simply my own anecdotal evidence, there are a LOT of geniuses, I mean actual geniuses, who are communists.

I interpret that to show that intelligence is NOT a primary human trait to show who is suited for politics. All that intelligence, and they land on communism..  :foreheadslap:

They are talking about statistics. If statistics show that people who eat Coke are less intelligent than people who drink Pepsi, it is a matter of collecting the IQ's of a large selection of people, and crunch the numbers. You're failing at understanding this, and you think this is some subjective opinion of the journalist, when it is simply numbers, those numbers aren't even being interpreted beyond one being larger than the other.

They also specify that these correlations are not necessarily causative.

Actually it does say that. Just go to the page and search for correlation.

Unless you have access to the dataset, and showed that their numbers are wrong, it is to be considered fact, and STILL claiming it is wrong proves my point that you disagree because you are insulted by the findings, rather than have a scientific counter.

I don't get bent out of shape either.  I just know the ilk of the assholes who come up with stupid shit like this.  I know more about the psychodynamics of lefthandedness than these morons.  Liberals are smarter?  Fucking spare me.  Obama voters are failures.  That's why they voted for him.  Did they prsent the raw data?  No, they did not.

I'm sure there are lots of geniuses who are communists.  They are called sociopaths.

got 14 but unsure about the ones involving mommy so I didn't count those. Kinda creepy that so many of these arbitrary things i happen to have. I'm not sure how much I buy into this but it definitely makes me feel pretty cool :cool:

Although I don't really consider myself super smart, more determined and a hard worker than natural intelligence :shrug:

If I had voted last time around, I would have voted for obama - because it came down to either him or Romney, and I don't like the idea of Romney blockading gay rights and shutting down planned parenthoods.

I'm not happy with obama's presidency, particularly his war on drugs.  But if Romney had won, the war on drugs would have still gone one... Romney stated explicitly that he'd fight MMJ "tooth and nail", just as obama has done.

How would that have been better?




Then again for all I know I might have you all wrong. :shrug:
