Mine is Aquarius. I read about twenty horoscopes on Aquarius and they are all right on... I chose this one.

It?s a departure from convention, eccentricity, the unexpected development that changes the course of history. It is the discovery of people and all the arteries that join them together. Aquarius is adventure, curiosity, exotic and alien appeal. It pours water of life and intelligence for all humanity to drink. It is humanism, fraternity and element of surprise.

Actually I'm not satisfied with that description. I like this one.

The lightning loving, intellectually oriented attributes of Aquarius are sometimes seen as eccentric...almost always as unpredictable and yet they possess a remarkable coherency, albeit, often times far ahead of their time.
At their very best an Aquarian is cheerful, upbeat, charismatically friendly and charming. Their ideas are little breezes that sweep the past away leaving a wonderful vision for the future in its place. They are unconditional "likers" and share their thoughts and schemes with everyone. Comfortable with the elite...and the common, the rich and the poor, the off-beat and the mundane, Aquarians fit in anywhere they want to fit in.
At their very worst they are cold, calculating, too eccentric to put their many ideas into practical use, to independent to form healthy, nurturing relationships.

Aquarius stands for the future and the past. Once ruled by the serious and staunch Saturn the water-bearer is no stranger to the rules and regulations. Now ruled by the giant, surprising Uranus Aquarius brings the best from 'what was" and turns it into a dazzling image of "what can be." Yet it never completely removes itself from the vestiges of its previous Saturn rulership and Aquarius still plays by the rules, although, the rules are often those of its own making. While it often seems to snatch its ideas out of thin air looking a little closer will almost always reveal some common thread to something that has been floating around in the collective.

And it is that collective which Aquarius moves most comfortably and most freely in. As does the typical Aquarian. They are rarely group joiners but they often flit in for a moment or two. They can rally people around magnificent causes which they then leave behind when the next ideal strikes them. They are more comfortable seeing things in a "bigger picture" way and can deal with abtsract thoughts and possibilities with ease.

Aquarius is a fixed air sign. Air being intellectual and fixed being steady, stubborn, tenacious and strong willed. An Aquarian can hold on to their ideals and their thoughts and their visions as if they were real and literal things. They will change their mind, given enough facts and plenty of freedom and time. Facts are something most Aquarians have a delightful fixation with but in their typical unique way they twist them and rework them and turn them into something completely unexpected.

Progressive and liberal...or conservative and middle of the road...Aquarians run the gamut but always have an opinion and a strong one...of anything that hints at a better world or better way.

In spiritual astrology Aquarius signifies the ability to work with others towards goals which better the world. Personal concerns become secondary to community concerns. It is the absence of personal ego in favor of collective ego,

Yeah..little bits and pieces... but Aqaurius describes me almost perfectly.. and although I have little pieces of other zodiac signs they are incomplete or dont fit me exactly... like Saggitarius... I can barely comprehend it... it doesn't describe me at all... I can barely even understand it.

At this point I would like to add these descriptions are just a mortals attempts (not mine) at defining certain attributes of persons born under certain star signs. Make note that these descriptions are just one interpretation of many things, and can be perceived in any thousands of different ways. Also a person may have elements of several starsigns, being born in the cusp of two, or having different planets in different areas at the time of birth.

also i used to just dismiss astrology as people being naive and trying to fool people, but recently i've seen it in a new light and it makes a bit more sense. gravitational and other 'forces' at different positions around the fetus in development could possibly determine charactoristics of brain/conciousness growth at minute levels. does that sound right?

Absolutely!
This is exactly how I view astrology affecting us, couldn't have said it better myself.
I don't pay much attention to the daily horoscopes however... too much is influenced by the person who writes them.

I generally don't pay attention to those daily horoscope things, but I do read them from time to time, and I must say, they have been pretty accurate. Like a few months ago, I read it and it said watch your living situation carefully in the next week, you will be relocating and you need to be strong. I was like yeah right and then a week later I was moving and facing difficult situations.
Then a few weeks later one said that your creative abilities will come into play, use them wisely and do not let the ego get in the way.. it will; revolve around some form of art or music. Then my band landed this sweet gig, and we basically got it because the guy liked my humbleness.

Sometimes when I read mine I don't feel a "hit" on anything, if you know what I mean. Every once in a great while though they are dead on.
If I look at mine at all I usually look at my horoscope for the previous day just for kicks.
