That's true to an extent but not in this case. Drugs are demonized by the people who are willfully ignorant and uneducated and to the folks that believe in imaginary gods.

You cannot compare drug use to rape dude. There are idiots that do drugs and make drugs look bad but the drugs are not the problem. The individual is what causes the problems just like the individual decides to rape.

Lawmakers are there to protect the masses from self-harm. It is their duty to protect us from ourselves, they are our guardian. Or so it goes like that.

Now, that is my opinion in how they operate, and this is why they get voted in to power. However, my own philosophy is very different, it is based on principles of self ownership, justice and individual responsibility.

I believe in democracy to an extent, but I will always fight against the tyranny of the majority. Look at what has happened in Turkey recently, this is the struggle of the minority to reclaim their lives, against the bigotry of the majority. There lies freedom.

Also in many cases religion had much to do with the demonizing of said drugs and ignorance is in full effect on said matter because if most would simply educate themselves maybe things would not be the way it is.

Weed users don't want to do psychedelics because it will damage their mind

Psychedelic users don't want to do weed because it will make them lazy and insane

I'm can completely compare the two if all I am saying is that both sides have idiocies. Exactly, the individual is to blame, like I said. One individuals morals should not = law. There is no sense in law, it one type of person trying to control another type of person. The problem is there is too many people on this planet. You wouldn't enjoy the solution, however.

Just pointing out that we all believe in stereotypes somewhat

Even if we think we don't, we all have something against certain drugs often, or drug overuse i.e.

It can be hard to overcome

Because it is often based on personal experience too, that we extrapolate to others

But we fail to realize that drugs affect people differently and the drugs are usually not the problem, the people using them are

I get what ur saying but I think weed users and mushroom users and such kind of go hand in hand for

Oh, I do agree. I'm just saying how things are, not what I want things to be.

And I think the media have a large role in this. But ultimately, it is the weak willed psychology of people who propagate "opinions", which is actually mindless regurgitating of propaganda. This is my problem with majority rule.

this is a forum to speak my mind freely. Not be judged as a criminal. Freedom of speech goes very far, 50 cent got shot by Mike Tyson's bodyguard, then after Mike Tyson's bodyguard got shot, 50 cent said in a song:

"now I know god put me here for a real reason, cuz he got hit like I got hit but he ain't no longer breathing"

He never seemed to be put through trial very far as a possible suspect for a retaliation murder.




As far as I'm concerned, I can come on here very day and say I'm growing 18 billion shrooms etc. if I've so much as googled the word "pressure cooker" or "microbial spore reproduction in medium environment" or not is irrelevant. It's freedom of speech mayng :tongue:
