who should i keep?

i have a keeper league. but you can only keep 1 player from last year. more like a holdover league...

anyway, can't keep anyone you drafted from round 1,2, or 3 and trades or waiver pickups count as round 8.

we keep that one player in exchange for losing a pick in the round we drafted him in.

here are the only real options...

round 8-
kendall wright
brandon stokley
donnie avery

round 10-
brian hartline

round 16-
seattle D

this was my first draft in a 12 man league so I tried to draft with regards to having a standout keeper for this year. right now I am thinking hartline or stokley. but both of those guys got a little fucked since welker and wallace. so wright and avery don't look so bad now.

Seattle's D should still be solid, but you never know with those clowns. I don't like any of the players on that list so no advice other than that D.

yeah, all my "foresight" was fucked by offseason transactions. if either welker or wallace hadn't been traded the choice would be simple.

only other problem is that this league the Defensive scoring is just stupid. you get 10 points for shutting out an opponent (which didnt happen at all last year) and then nothing. Then you get the same amount of points for kickoff and return yards.

so last year, the titans were ranked 2nd best defense in our league. which finally prompted me to table some rule changes but still, keeping seattle might not even be worth it.


hartline is my favorite right now, since it is a 10th round pick for a solid 2nd string WR in what i believe will be the AFC East champions. having a questionable running game and wallace as the obvious person to cover, hartline will most likely put up better numbers this year.

Hartline, the guy is due.  especially WITH Wallace there to take the heat off.  He had over 1,000 yards receiving last year.  Look for hartline and Tannehill to connect.  Tannehill will surprise. 

But you didn't specify if this is a PPR league or not.  That means a lot

Hartline is the man. He will put up better stats than Wallace IMO

Geez with defense rules like that may as well just pick any D. I am not overly thrilled with the shroomery FF league scoring, it's too low, and too geared towards the run game, when it's all about passing now in the NFL. Feels ancient man :wtfsonic:

True. You should play in my other league. 12 teams, each team had QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, TE, WR/RB, WR/RB, WR/TE, K, DEF, LB, DE, DE, DB, DB
And the scoring was high too. I remember putting up 300 points in one game and still being a close one
I feels it is a lot funner.

I would pick hartline. He is young and talented. I think miami is on the growing end, and not the slowing end
