Joel madden caught with weed

Im am disappoint with Australia media that i have always hated and had to live with. The Good Charlotte singer got caught with a baggie of weed in NSW(state) and the media has completely blown it up and made it a big deal. His wife was no help and only brought on more media. Now in NSW you'll almost always get off with a warning and many other states have it decriminalised and legal its never been a big issue. But the government and the media love to fear-monger and its a love-hate thing in Australia where you either find it OK or view it as the demon weed. He says that he may lose his job on the voice.

Its completely fucked up! The police were issued a warrant to search his apartment after the cleaner found 5g of probly mild bud.. Ive been done with half an Oz and they just took it off me and made me sign a form to say that it was placed in evidence bag#6271etc.  Then they found a few fake Id's I had made for myself a didnt even care.. FUCK being in the media spotlight for a job

The Trans Siberian Railway actually blows my fucking mind.

Everything about it is interesting. Connects Moscow to the east sea of Japan, connects to NK / Iran / China and others.

Spans 7 time zones, is almost 6000 miles long, etc etc.

Can't imagine the forced labour involved in that and, surprisingly, doesn't appear to be heavily documented.

A lot of world history in the Wiki article, too, apparently.

We have a low population, really Australia has the capacity for a lot of growth, more cities out west, turn Alice Springs into a Vegas tipe deal (wouldn't that do wonders for the Aboriginals though).
