Great News Everyone.


Today I received the order of LED's from my international supplier.  I might have over done it a little (myself and a couple helpers will be stringing lights for a couple hours prior to everyone's arrival) but it will be well worth it.  Customs must have scanned the package and thought it looked strange because the package had been sliced open and resealed with green tape that read, "This Package Has Been Opened By U.S. Customs."  In fine print I could almost read the phrase, "...and what are ya gonna do about it?"  Oh, those suspicious customs agents.

Didn't really mention it but there is plenty of lake to explore for kayaking if anyone partakes.  Bring your own kayak of course.

Also, you can show up at any point of the day Friday that you want.  There will be someone there early setting up lights and getting the camp grounds ready (gathering firewood, setting up camp, etc.), so if you feel like being an early bird, they'll be a couple of us to welcome you.  PM me with any questions or if you need directions.

god damn that sounds awesome!! but I am very sad to say that I'm not gonna make it unless some one can offer a ride at a decent price in the next few days. every body wants like $250+ just to get there!! I keep posting on CL to no avail:sad:

Met up with a fellow shroomerite today who's going to help with setting up.  He also scored a sweet battery powered amp for his electric guitar.  Should keep up with the acoustics nicely.  The plan is to be there at 8 to 8:30am the morning of the 31st.

I'm in Central FL. And I'm considering attending if that's cool.

Where were you 42 days ago when we started this thread? lol.  Let me know if you're interested in attending.  I'm sure you've read thru the thread but just in case, here's the short version.  No fees for camping or attending, just bring supplies for yourself if staying the weekend.  Bring instruments if you have them.  There is no electricity, so acoustic is best unless you go high tech like Blackd0ve and decide to rock a mini battery powered Marshall. Everything else is common sense.  Respect others and you'll be respected.  Keep in mind also there is not a store near the grounds so whatever you need you should have with you unless you want to make trips back and forth to the nearest store 20 minutes or more away.  PM me any other questions.

Alright all.  Tomorrow is the day.  The get together"ing" will commence.  I'll be away from the house today so if anyone has any more questions or if are just now hearing about Starkissfest for the 1st time, and would like to attend, contact Blackd0ve420. 'll try to check messages later tonight but if you need directions before then Blackd0ve420 will help you out.  Thank you to everyone who has helped put this together and keep the energy going to make this happen.  It's been a learning experience.  It's amazing what can be put together in just 43 days!  Hope to see you there. A big THANKS goes out to Shroomery.org for the means to bring people together to make this kind of event possible. Peace.

Alright well I hope everyone's psyched! I am late night packing (Food, Sleeping Bags, entertainment etc..) be sure you remember to bring what you need! Bug spray would be advisable.
