i always take: -a(office water cooler) jug of water (5gal) -dish washing liquid (if you plan on cooking) -V8 splash (this stuffs been a life saver, by 7:00am its about 100 degrees in a tent @ bonnarroo, so its good to have a way to replenish nutrients in the morning) -i always take an extra tent pole and velcro some of those blinking lights to it that you get @ autozone ($3.00)and raise it up as high as possible so at night you and everyone camping anywhere near you can find your/their way back to your/their site. i've had 1000's of people tell me they never would've found their way "home" w/o those blinking lights (they can be seen a mile away at night) -a rake to smooth out your tent site -lantern (propane is ideal) -coleman stove (propane) -extra propane bottles -make sure you have a good hiding spot for you "stuff" in your car. most places search your car on the way into a festie. -tarp -extra tent stakes, poles, tarps, and rope or twine(so you can build a roof over your site. the sun can be brutal so its necessary to have a place to get in the shade. its easiest to drape a large tarp over 2 cars or trucks leaving room for your tent in between. then use a tent pole or 2 upside down in the middle with plastic bottles on the tarp end of the poles to keep them from puncturing the tarp) -wet wipes and condoms (you never know what will happen at a festie. be prepared for anything) -bring extra loaves of bread, cheese, butter, and garlic powder (you and all of your friends can survive for days on garlic grilled cheese). plus you might feel the need to feed a malnurished new aquantance. -sunblock!!!!!!
thats all i can think of at the moment. just keep your wits about you. keep an eye on your friends. stay in groups. use good judgement. have fun.

Get big blocks of ice for the cooler, they last longer than bags.
