lol.... he was trying to make an improvised "wetsuit" out of the seal's skin. Maybe ridiculous, but also kind of clever in a fucked up way.

Sounds like a pig-in-a-blanket for a shark to me.

I'd like to see them turn to each other for strength and comfort, and maybe share a stash of liquid protein in convenient, swallow-sized portions.

This thread made me miss these survival shows (and realize I hadn't really watched them in a couple years) so I decided to check out what I missed.

Came across "Men vs Wild" with Jake Gyllenhaal.

The youtube comments for this episode were predictable, but still funny.

Hell, they even referenced it in the episode. They're building a snow fort and Grylls asks Gylls if this reminds him of filming brokeback. Gylls eyes go all wide in perfect actor feigned-surprise and says "I should HOPE NOT!"

But you could totally tell he wanted it. :awesomenod:
