Mine dont smell much like anything in the jar, just the substrate i used. I can really smell the vermiculite. When i take them out its a different story, they have a strong mushroom smell to them, very distinct. Anyways, i hoped this might help a little.

Aurul, they've been getting plenty of light..do you know why this happens? Someone said he gets the mushroom smell when the jar was 70% colonized. It's making me kinda nervous..just paranoia im sure.
