Fanning your grow chamber out twice a days is more then enough air exchange for your fun guys. There's no need to leave the lid cracked.

If using perlite you dont need to spray. Also, if you can afford to have a low humm from your terrarium..you should put in a fishtank air pump. I bought one at walmart for 7 bux. I just made a small hole in the top...stuck the hose from the pump into a hole i made in the top of my rubbermaid. The put the hose under a "hill" of WET perlite..not too close too cakes/casing. This way you get fresh filtered air that humid. For noise, a pillow on top of the terrarium makes a HUGE difference.
