my irrelevant goal
    #1815108 -

Used to post on these forums and have been coming back pretty often to read posts. Planning to post again on occasion.(not under this pretentious handle, a new one) Thought to share my newest goal with you all. To begin work on a Alaskan commercial fishing boat beginning in may of next year. How am I preparing? Weight training at the YMCA. In a little over a month i've gained 15 lbs of muscle. (5'7" 140lbs) ..a side note just because i'm excited about it:[ I've been working some, made enough to buy a mind bending stereo which just got hooked up today. NAD C320Bee integrated amp refurbished, nad 521i cdp refurbished, paradigm studio 20 v2 speakers used.] I don't really have anyone to talk to about this goal with and my parents want me to do something entirely different. I am aiming to gain 20 more lbs of muscle before I head to Alaska in 9 months. What do you think?

thats a pretty ambitious goal. One of my cuz'z works on an alaskan fishing boat. Most dangerous job in the world. Fatality and injury wise.
3 months of work got him like18 g's though.
He busted his knee and is unable to do that kinda work anymore at 26.
you might wana try out like, an oil rig or something. thats what his bro used to do. its alot safer, lots of room for growth.
give a thought to your safety

that's a really neat goal, man!  i'd love to go to alaska sometime... from what i've seen and heard, it is beautiful there.

i'm sure you know this already, but if you really want to do it, then you can do it!  just put your mind to it and make it happen!  good luck, loverofearth!

p.s.  what do you find pretentious about your handle??  i like it!
