mermaids;think about it

okay, so im not saying i believe, but this is a mind blowing concept. what if mermaids are real? and theyre so deep in the ocean we cant explore at the depths they live due to pressure. what if theyre like jellyfish type people, but intelligent like us, and talk and shit.

closest thing is probly dolphins. i believe, but mermaids like they show in the movies, half girl, half fish, perfect tits and all, nope, i just don't see it happening. but intelligent creatures deep beneath the sea, that are just as conscious, if not more, as humans, yes, i can see it happening.

yup I'm waiting for the sea to take revenge on us humans. For all of the destruction we're causing. Some sort of new species that make us look like bugs in comparison. Time will tell :evil:

Unlikely anything down there is as collectively intelligent as us, otherwise they'd have sent up some kind of communication device similar to how we send things into space. It'd probably be like: dear humanity, please stop pumping your feces in our home, regards the Jellypeople of the Deep.

I've heard it suggested that there may be marine wildlife that individually possess near human intelligence but lack the super-colonial organization structure of humans. Then again if they don't communicate facts to one another they are not as intelligent as us and therefore it's a silly hypothesis.

I do sometimes wish I was a mermaid. Swim endlessly in complete harmony with the ocean. And any man that crosses my path would meet their end muhahaha

but its fun to think about. maybe they dont know people exist.they cant come to the surface, theyd die cause theyd be like those deep sea fish that can ONLY survive in super deep sea. Maybve theyre as smart as we were like 300 years ago when we had colonies and shit and went on witch hunts. dont be a fun ruiner-aka- a fruiner.

We know more about deep space, than we do about deep ocean.
I don't think we are in any position to make claims on what can and can't exist down there.
