My new home made PVC greenhouse

My new greenhouse I built this weekend.  1.25 PVC, I plan on putting some leftover pieces across the top and mid section from front to back so the plastic sits further out and keeps from touching the tubs. Pretty simple to build, cost about $70-80 to make. Thought I'd share for others to see who want to build their own :smile:

Thats more of a rack. Buy some clear vinyl to cover it and a moisture trap then you'll have a green house :smile:

Yeah, that's my plan.  Cover it with clear plastic or vinyl and put in some tarp zippers.  I have some trays I'm going to put underneath with perlite in them.

I'd find a way to get those off the ground a little more... that bottom row would be where i'd put the cool mist / perlite.... For the same reason we elevate everything off the floor in the myco world  :thumbup:

Good deal! Ive been considering doing this as well, just adding wire racks per shelf and have a martha greenhouse.

Fruits on all the sides!!

I did plan on putting plastic along the bottom too, underneath the moisture trays which should help keep dust/spores out.  Did that with my store bought GH and it worked fine.  I plan on making the plastic wider and putting some extra pvc material on the sides to push it out so I can set the cool mist(s) on the side next to the rack, I figure why waste rack space when I could fill it with tubs.

I'm not to concerned with mold/dust related contams during the fruiting stage.  From my understanding in what I've read here on the shroomery, they're going to get in there regardless, as long as there's enough FAE in the GH they won't be able to actually grow and do their damage.

It holds 12 tubs. You can get premade GHs for $20 that have 4 shelves and have the plastic walls and zippered doors already made. So for $60 you could have the same space and not have to make plastic walls.

Yes, I do in fact own one of those, in my opinion, they're cheap pieces of shit. Nowhere have I seen one of those for $20, I've found them for $40 after shipping costs.  What is it about this site where you can't share something without some smug fuck trying to chime in to make you feel stupid and inferior? I have a theory that people who feel the need to do that sort of thing have what's called, "small penis syndrome".

It's not my fault you like spending excess money on an overbuilt, half-completed, reinvented wheel that takes twice as long to build and does exactly the same thing as the premade equivalent.

In all honesty I got two for $15 each last week. I was being generous about the $20 part.

Try Menards if you want them that inexpensive. $25 online and cheaper in the actual store, especially if there's a rebate.

What do I do if I want them to be a well built quality product though???  Honestly, I get irritated with know-it-alls. This thing is sturdy and well built the way I prefer it. If I got a few extra bucks like around I'll spend them how I please.  I appreciate your "attempt" to try and help someone save money.  However, I do not appreciate the condescending manor in which you did it.  So kindly go fuck yourself :laugh:

If you'll read my first post you'll see that all I did was a tiny bit of factual math. You're the one who decided to throw around phrases like 'small penis syndrome'.

Here's my answer. Have you ever noticed that the only common thread in your dysfunctional relationships is you?

Well, it's the same thing with this site. Maybe the problem is not the shroomery, but that your ideas are bad and so when you post your bad ideas, people point them out as being, as you described it, "inferior".

You can throw a temper tantrum all you like but that does not make your bad ideas good.

I'll also point out that the premade GHs have shelves so you can store jars in them as they are. With yours you need to dedicate tubs to hold the jars or have some other type of support.

Basically, stop wasting people's time with bad ideas. There are so may distracting teks on the shroomery and it's hard enough filtering through the good ones without having to wade through crap.

Right, as I previously stated, I've owned a pre-made greenhouse and am not a fan, they're cheaply made.  If you think it's a bad idea that's just fine. Let others decide for themselves, if they too agree, that's also fine; personally, I like it. 

I didn't throw a tantrum, you were being a condescending dick, I called you out on it and now you're trying to make me look like the asshole, I've met plenty of people in my life who play that game.

I don't need a greenhouse that can store jars, I have extra self space in the closet that works perfectly for storing jars.  I prefer to use my fruiting chamber for fruits.  Again, thanks for the "advice" but I'll store my jars where I please.
